‘Danger’ sports

- Peter Rickaby, via email

Members of both chambers must oppose this plan to ensure political stability in Northern

Ireland and protect Britain's reputation in the world as a reliable and law-abiding partner.

Now ‘woke’ academics have decided that contact sports such as rugby are dangerous, participants might get hurt and how long before they claim the same applies to cricket.

A person throwing a solid object at another is certain to alarm them suggesting this equates to deliberate physical abuse.

It won’t be long before they want swimming outlawed, those involved could drown. in our water bills inflicted by Yorkshire Water. Why?

Normal companies, owned by their shareholders would have to either ask them for a cash injection or go to a bank.

If we wanted to, say, get a new kitchen or double glazing we would go to the bank for a loan if necessary.

Why then does Yorkshire Water not go to the bank for the funds necessary to make their customers’ lives better by not polluting virtually everything they are in charge of?
