Woods: We get plaudits but not points
Keeper praises Accies in Celts loss
Celtic ............................ 1 Hamilton ...................... 0

Gary Woods says Hamilton defended brilliantly against Celtic but they’re disappointed with the champions’ winner.
Lethal Leigh Griffiths pounced on the one major error Accies made all evening in 36 minutes to skip past Grant Gillespie and slot the ball past Woods, after Moussa Dembele had squared Tom Rogic’s superb ball over the top to him.
It wasn’t harsh on Hamilton, because Celtic simply oozed class on the night, but on another day they might have sneaked a draw as sub Eamonn Brophy fired agonisingly wide late in the game.
Woods was impressed with the display and said: “I think we can take a lot of plaudits from this.
“On the whole, the lads defended brilliantly, we limited them to not many chances, and in the end we’re disappointed with the goal we conceded.
“We’ve been done by a ball over the top and he just passes it round me. Overall I think we played really well, and in the end we created a couple of chances so maybe we could have nicked one.
“We restricted a very good team to a few chances, and you know what happens when you come here – some teams get turned over by six or seven goals, and last season we came here and got beat 8-1.
“As a whole unit and a team I thought our defence was fantastic and that’s what we need to bring in to Friday now.
