TABS Easter show is sell-out success
Young actors and actresses at The Acting Bairns of Stonehouse (TABS) wowed with three sell-out performances of their Easter production of Mary Poppins.
The show was held at St Ninian’s Church starring Jasmin Ellis in the lead role, with her brother Mackenzie taking on the character of Bert.
The performances certainly brought a lot of colour and song to town, and organisers are delighted with its success.
Nicola Alder, of the production team, praised the work of the cast and appealed for help in fundraising for the group, which is a registered charity.
She said:“tabs had another fantastic sell-out performance for their Easter show of Mary Poppins – even the sun came out to play!
“Our main fundraising effort for 2017 is to raise funds for a new stage and sound system including microphones and speakers as although our existing equipment was top of the range when purchased, it has quickly been replaced by more up-to-date technology.
“If you consider that sponsorship or donation of raffle prizes is a possibility and you would wish to discuss anything, please do not hesitate to contact us at tabs@ keepitstonehouse.co.uk.”
The production team are now hard at work preparing for the Christmas pantomime, with rehearsals starting in August.
