Beauty firm to raise cash for help group

A Lanarkshire-based beauty business has chosen to support The Haven Centre as their charity of the year.

Diamondz Studio, who offer beauty, cosmetic and personal care, at 13 Hope Street, Bellshill, will sell Haven Rainbow raffle tickets, with a top prize of £1000 and have a Haven collection can in the shop as they raise cash for the charity.

Business owner Bushra Mohammed will also offer monthly package deals with a percentage of each deal going to The Haven.

The Haven, with centres in Blantyre, Wishaw and Forth, offers a programme of support designed to help individuals cope with the physical, emotional and practical aspects of their illness and to enable them to face the future with hope.

Support is offered to people of all ages including children and to all the family members and carers.

The support is provided for people at all stages of their illness from the point of diagnosis onwards and is specifically tailored to meet the needs of the individual.

The Haven operates as a drop in centre with no need for medical referral and all services are provided free of charge.

The Haven team of specialist nurses, therapists, and volunteers work closely together to provide the highest standard of care.
