We are appealing for information for the following crimes, all of which occurred during the day. About 11.50am on Tuesday, August 29, at Birchfield Road, Hamilton a male was disturbed trying to force a rear patio door with intent to enter and steal. He made off on being disturbed. The suspect is described as male, 6ft 3in grey tracksuit with a muscular build.
Between 11.15am to 11.35am, on Monday, August 28, at Springfield Crescent, Uddingston, a jewellery box and contents were stolen. A light blue Audi estate was observed and sounded the horn, to warn the suspect, described as a male in his 40s, wearing a black jacket that persons were nearby. The suspect then entered the vehicle and both made off. Between 12.50 to 2pm on Tuesday, August 29, a property was broken into at Craig Street, Blantyre after a door was forced. Property including two laptops, a camera and jewellery taken using a black holdall. On being disturbed the suspect, described as 30-40 years, wearing a black beanie hat, white tracksuit top and black bottoms made off. Police are reviewing local CCTV.
