School celebrates a year of success

Larkhall Academy held their annual prize-giving for their senior school on Wednesday, September 6.

Aenior students from last year’s S4-S6 were awarded for their success in their recent SQA examinatio­ns.

Awards were also presented to S4 students who were effective contributo­rs and to others who had made some kind of contributi­on within the local community.

The awards were presented by Joyce Larson, a former teacher at Larkhall Academy who retired at the end of last session. Fourth year
