Special day lies ahead at parish church

Hillhouse Parish Church will have a service of Remembrance this Sunday, November 12, from 10.45am.

Visitors are welcome to join the congregation for this special day.

Later that day, the sanctus service will take place in the church at 6.30pm.

On Monday, November 13, the Men’s Club will meet from 7.30pm and Laura Bradley from Guide Dogs for the Blind will be the guest speaker.

And on Tuesday, November 14, the guild of friendship will meet at 2pm and the speaker will be Rev John Thomson.

Next Wednesday, November 15, Cameo will meet at 7.30pm and the speaker will be Mrs P Harvie, who will talk about dolls’ houses.
