Snappers prints are charming, says judge
Motherwell Photographic Society held their first print competition of the season last week.
It was judged by Libby Smith from Carluke Camera Club.
The results of the beginners’ section were: 1st, Skunk Cabbage; 2nd, Walk the Dog; and 3rd, Retreating Lanark Loch, all by Bill Mcintosh.
And the portrait results were: 1st, Gatsby Style by Linda Greenhill; 2nd, Serviceman by Margaret Dewar; and 3rd, Nell by Brian Saberton.
The results of the landscape and general section were: 1st, Goose in Evening light by Margaret Dewar; 2nd, Through the Glass Ball by William Graham; and 3rd equal, After the Rain by Brian Saberton and Cygnet Landing by Margaret Dewar.
Motherwell Photographic Society meet on Thursdays at 7.30pm in Holytown Community Centre, Stevenston Street, Holytown.
