When do you put up Christmas decorations?

The countdown to Christmas is officially on, but when is the right time to put up the Christmas tree and decorations? Our reporter Kirsten Mcstay went into the town centre to ask the public. Sheena Irving (73) from Hamilton said: “I think around about two weeks before Christmas is the right time. I usually go all out, but not in November!” Grace O’donnell (66) from Hamilton said:“usually the week before Christmas my decorations go up, but I have started my shopping already you can’t be too organised!” Brian Mcwatt (64) from Larkhall said:“i think round about the 10th of December is an acceptable time. It is far too early just now, but middecember is fine.” David Dick (52) from Blantyre said:“if it was up to me they would be up right now! I absolutely love Christmas and every window that can be seen will have a decoration on it! We will probably put ours up at the beginning of December. I can’t wait!”
