Valentine prize for engaged couple
Loved-up Hamilton couple Melissa Eadie and Lee Graham were delighted to scoop first place in our Valentine Selfie Competition.
The couple, who recently got engaged, gained the most online votes for their stunning selfie beside the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
They got engaged last year in the romantic city and will tie the knot next year.
The Advertiser teamed up with Hamilton Business Improvement District (BID) to give couples the chance to win the Ultimate Date Night Package worth £250.
And this week, Melissa popped in to the Advertiser office to pick up the prize from the chair of the BID, Mark Calpin.
Melissa said: “We are delighted to win. We saw the competition online and thought our selfie of us getting engaged in Paris would be a good one to submit for Valentine’s Day.
“It is an amazing package of prizes and we can’t thank you enough.”
The prize includes a £100 dinner voucher for a top Hamilton BID restaurant; a pair of cinema tickets for the Vue Cinema; a hair and nails voucher worth £50; and aftershave and perfume vouchers.
