- Kirsten Mcstay

Uddingston Craft Bombers are seeking community-spirited individuals to help out for the Uddingston Craft Bomb 2018.

They will hold their next meeting with the hopes of seeing both new and returning contributors from across the community.

Uddingston Craft Bomb is a volunteer community project aiming to bring together people from all areas of Uddingston, to come up with fantastic creations to brighten up the town. A spokesperson for the Craft Bombers said: “there are a variety of ways you can benefit from these meet-ups.

“Maybe just use it to find out how you can get involved, catching up with activities and installations which will be going on throughout the project.

“Maybe use it as an opportunity to sit and have a natter while maybe doing some knitting/crochet in a supportive environment.

“Patterns will be available and help and inspiration will be on hand. For non-knitters we will also have an on the night crafty make to get involved in too.

“Idea boards and help will be on hand throughout to assist with your own crafting.”

So wether you are in individual contributor, a community group/ organisation or a business please come along and get involved in making Uddingston smile again this year.

The meeting will be held on March 6, in Uddingston Community Centre at 7pm. All are welcome to attend.
