Larkhalland Districtvolunteer Group
Calling all football fanatics! We are adding a new and exciting activity to our busy and varied programme and would like to find out if you would be interested in coming along.
Our Football Classics Group will have their first meeting on Wednesday, March 7, from 12.30pm till 2.30pm.
As an introduction to this new group we invite you to share your love of football and join us to enjoy a screen showing of Scotland’s historic win over the‘auld Enemy’, England, at Wembley in 1967.
After the match, enjoy light refreshments and join a group discussion to decide the format and plan the way forward for this new group. Come along and enjoy the match.
Booking required for catering purposes and to confirm event will go ahead. All welcome. Book now for our next tea dance on Wednesday, February 28, at 12.30pm. A great afternoon among friends.
Next outing for our garden group is a visit to RBG Dawyck Botanical Gardens on Wednesday, April 25.
Lots going on before then so why not join us on a Wednesdays at 10am to find out more.
Our gardeners are starting preparations for Spring planting and preparing for our Spring Fair on Saturday, April 28.
As always we particularly need volunteer drivers.
Volunteer drivers are always thin on the ground and numbers are really low at the moment due to ill health etc, so we are really anxious to recruit new members.
