The wedding of Lynsay Mckenna and John Beggs

The couple:

Lynsay, from Hamilton, works as a self-employed mobile hairdresser and John, from Blantyre, works with Bissett Printers.

Lynsay and John met in 2004 at the cinema in Hamilton and now have two children, Darren and Ayleah, who shared their special day with them.

Where they met: The ceremony:

The ceremony was held on September 30, 2017, in Our Lady and St Anne’s Church, Hamilton, followed by the reception at the Auld Hoose in Hamilton.

Attire:

The bride wore a dress by Briony Maggie Sottero Tiadora, while the groom wore a kilt from the Kilt Centre in Hamilton.

Bridal party:

Maid of honour was Martha Mckenna and bridesmaids were Claire Mckenna, Carly Mcadams, Shireen Ford and Gillian Lynch. Junior bridesmaids were Mya Mccabe and Amymarie Johnstone. Flowergirls were Ayleah Beggs, Holly Mckenna, Charley Hart and Keriah Melrose. Best man was Kristopher Beggs with ushers Paul Mcsorley, Kevin Mccabe and Stephen Mckenna and Jay Mccabe . Page boys were Darren Beggs and Brendan Mckenna.

Honeymoon:

The couple enjoyed a spa/overnight break at the Popinjay Hotel.
