Dalziel fell to a third straight defeat which left them staring relegation in the face and playing a waiting game until May.

Relegation from National League 3 can still involve four clubs at this stage, with Dalziel level on 17 points with Haddington, who have a game in hand. Perthshire have played the same number of games but are two points ahead, and Orkney in ninth are four points ahead, but with a game in hand.

Haddington host third-placed Highland on April 21, while Perthshire travel to Orkney on the same day.

A win for the islanders would take them out of the equation, but Perthshire and Haddington would be very much within touching distance, with Dalziel travelling to Haddington on May 5, where they could be playing to stay in the division.
