It was another busy week on the Hamilton Advertiser’s Facebook page.

One story that many of our readers commented on was about Bothwell beauty Claudia Todd making it into the Miss Scotland 2018 final.

Throughout Claudia’s campaign she will be raising money for the UK Sepsis Trust, a charity which is close to her heart as she was diagnosed with sepsis in January.

She has currently raised over £7000 for the charity and hopes to continue to raise more.

Another story our readers commented on was about film crews being spotted outside Hamilton Sheriff Court.

The BBC confirmed that they were filming for a new four-part thrilling, psychologi­cal drama, The Cry, which stars Doctor Who’s Jenna Coleman.

Many of our readers said they passed the film crew and had wondered what was going on.
