The wedding of Connor Smith and Sarah Magee

The couple

Connor, from Bellshill, works as a customer service advisor with Ascensos. Sarah, also from Bellshill, works in the fast food chain Mcdonald’s.

Where they met

Connor and Sarah met through BBM (Blackberry messenger) in 2012 and then realised they went to the same high school together and that their parents also knew one another.

The wedding

The ceremony was held at Burnhead Parish Church on Friday, June 22. Their reception, in Airdrie, was attended by 150 family and friends.

Attire

The bride wore an ivory dress by Morilee from Bijoux Bridal, while Connor wore the Help for Heroes kilt from Slaters in Glasgow.

Bridal party

Bridesmaids were Sophie Magee and Chantelle Smith. Pageboys were the couple’s son Mason Smith and their two nephews Layton and Finlay Stewart. Best man was Christopher Smith with usher Luke Magee.

The newlyweds travelled to Belfast for their mini honeymoon.
