A Blantyre woman who stabbed her partner was spared a prison sentence when she appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week.
Mary Gallacher (47) of Parkville Drive admitted brandishing a knife at James Graffen and striking him on the body to his injury.
The assault happened at a house in Auchinraith Terrace, Blantyre, on February 1.
The prosecution dropped allegations that the victim suffered severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
Sheriff David Bicket deferred sentence on Gallacher for a year for good behaviour.
