New Larky Mash­ers cal­en­dar

The or­gan­is­ers of a pop­u­lar Face­book page that gives res­i­dents in Larkhall a fo­rum where they can rem­i­nisce about the town’s his­tory have re­leased their 2019 cal­en­dar.

The Two Larky Mash­ers from High Avon Street have pro­duced their 2019 char­ity cal­en­dar and it is now on sale.

Larkhall Her­itage Group, Larkhall Com­mu­nity Grow­ers, Macmil­lan Can­cer Sup­port and St An­drew’s Hos­pice will each re­ceive a share of the sales.

Tommy Mcphee, of The Two Larky Mash­ers from High Avon Street Face­book page, said: “We have to say a big thanks to all 16 spon­sors who helped make the cal­en­dar pos­si­ble.

“There are 600 copies printed and are in high de­mand and are al­ways very pop­u­lar.”

The cal­en­dars showed a col­lec­tion of pho­to­graphs from the town. They are avail­able from Burns The Sta­tion­ers, the Co-op on Union Street and the Re­pair Cen­tre on Mont­gomery Street.
