Campbell: Wemust improve
Motherwell midfielder Allan Campbell says his side have a lot of work to do if they are to enjoy a good season.
A 2-1 derby win at Hamilton opened up a seven-point gap on the bottom three, but Campbell says improvement is needed.
The 20-year-old said: “There is a million per cent room for improvement. The league hasn’t gone as well as we had planned, but you have to dig deep and get performances for the fans.
“We need to dig deep as a team, work hard and come back after the break and work our way up the table.
“We know better.”
Motherwell’s first game back after the break is a home Scottish Cup fourth round tie against Ross County, and Campbell wants another run in the competition.
He said: “We’ll prepare well for it and try to put in another good performance for the fans.
