Social care info dates

-

The Hamilton Health and Social Care Forum (HHSCF) have invited locals along to information sessions to see how it could benefit them.

Health and social care is everyone’s concern and it is important that people have a say in any developments – especially those that will affect them and their families, either now or in the future.

HHSCF can help with this. Their aim is to encourage people to be engaged and involved with decisions, whist ensuring that they are informed about services and developments. The areas covered by this local forum are Hamilton, Blantyre, Bothwell, Uddingston, Stonehouse, Larkhall and surrounding areas.

Not a lot of people may be aware of the HHSCF or what they can gain from getting involved.

The forum are keen to give more people information through local information sessions, which will take place on the following dates and times:

• Stonehouse, Stonehouse Lifestyle Centre, 2 Udston Mill Road on Monday, January 21, at 7.30pm.

• Hillhouse and Earnock Community Centre, on Thursday, February 7, between 11am-12.30pm.

• Hamilton Academicals, Executive Suite on Monday, February 18, between 2.30pm and 4pm.

• Larkhall & District Volunteer Group, 55 Victoria Street, on Wednesday February 20, between 2.30pm-4pm.

Everyone is welcome to come along and refreshments will be provided. For more information, please call: (01698) 827583, visit www. facebook.com/hhscf or email administrator@ communitylinkssl.co.uk.
