GILMOUR AND WHITEHILL CHURCH

-

We are looking forward to Claire Herbert conducting our worship this Sunday, January 20, at 10am.

Everyone is welcome, so why not come along? It may be some time since you visited a church, but please be assured there is always room for you.

Last Sunday we were delighted to welcome more children to our Sunday School, which meets during the service.

On Sunday, January 27, our new locum, John Nicolson, will take up his post. We look forward to the start of his ministry and pray that he will soon feel a part of this church family.

The memories tearoom will be open on Thursday, January 31, from 12.30-3pm. The tearoom provides a much-needed place where those who live with dementia and their carers can spend some time together to relax, have a cup of tea, a good blether, enjoy some entertainment and meet children and young adults from a variety of schools within our area.

The Lyndale Club restarts on Tuesday, February 5, at 7.30pm. The speaker for the evening will be Michelle Binnie, our pastoral assistant. Anne Paul, president, and the committee extend an invitation to all to come along to this very friendly group.

Plans are currently being made for social gatherings during 2019, the first of which is our congregational lunch on Wednesday, February 13. This is always a very happy day when everyone enjoys lunch together, a good afternoon’s fellowship and some musical entertainment.
