Rediscover riffs of guitar legends like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Brian May and Slash as Motherwell Theatre brings you The Story of Guitar Heroes.

Phil Walker and his exceptiona­l band will deliver music from guitar heroes through the years, in this live concert style rockumenta­ry.

With over 20 guitars used on stage, the show accurately recreates the sound and ambiance of each guitar hero, starting from the 1950s to the present day.

Teamed with the latest in video technology, the event promises to be larger than life.

Phil Walker said:“i am really looking forward to bringing The Story Of Guitar Heroes back to Motherwell.

“Last time we were there everyone made us feel so welcome, and man...you guys know how to rock!”

The show will take the stage on February 8, kicking off at 7.30pm.

Orchard Primary School’s parent council are hosting a Ladies’night at Club 100 in Motherwell.

The night will feature musical entertainm­ent from Jubillee Duo function band.

There will also be a fantastic raffle held with amazing prizes on offer.

Parent council member Jillian Ford said: “It’s sure to be a brilliant night and I hope we can get as many people from the area to come and have a dance.”

The event will take place on Friday, March 1, at 7.30pm.

All funds raised will go towards the school and nursery.

Tickets are available from Orchard Primary school office and cost £10.
