The couple

James, from Blantyre, is a joiner and business owner with Orrwood Property Services Ltd. Sheree, also from Blantyre, is an early years practition­er and works at The Station House Nursery in Cambuslang.

When they met

The couple met in their local pub The Parkville In 2012.

The wedding

The ceremony was held in The Waterlily at The Vu in Bathgate on Friday, October 25, 2019. The reception was then held in The Oasis Suite atthevu.

Honeymoon

The couple are planning on having a honeymoon in the New Year to also celebrate Sheree’s 30th birthday.

Bridesmaid­s were Mary Ann Whitters, Alana Nicoll,

Stephanie Thornton and Donna Budras; maid of honour was Lisa Marie Kielbasins­ki; flower girl was Meila Rose Wood; page boys were Kyle Docherty and Kayden Docherty; best man was David Cockburn; and ushers were Craig Whitters, Sean Edmond and Andrew Wood.

Sheree wore two Pronovias dresses. One during the day for her ceremony, and another at night for her reception. Both dresses were purchased from Ivory Pink in Bothwell. James wore Hunting Manx Kilt with Lovat

Thanks

The couple would like to thank their amazing families and close friends for all their kind love and support throughout the whole wedding process. Thank you to James’s brother Andrew for singing his beautiful version of Caledonia at the service and for travelling all the way over from New Zealand to share the special day. Also, thanks to Sophie Cochrane for singing beautifull­y at the service too. And finally, thank you to all of the guests for attending, the couple say they have been overwhelme­d with everyone’s generosity and had the most perfect day.
