Road closures affecting Hamilton and the surroundin­g areas:

Hamilton

ROYELLEN AVENUE and REDERECH CRESCENT (part of) will be closed between Wellhall Road and Bourtree Road until 6pm on Sunday, February 16, for Scottish Water supply upgrades. Diversion via Wellhall Road, Rederech Crescent and Langoreth Avenue. REDERECH CRESCENT will be closed between Wellhall Road and Bourtree Road from 9.30am on Monday, February 17, to 6pm on Monday, March 2, for Scottish Water supply upgrades. Diversion via Wellhall Road, Eriskay Avenue, Bourtree Road, Royellen Avenue and Langoreth Avenue.

LILYBANK STREET will be closed between Wellhall Road and its terminatio­n until Sunday, March 8, to allow Scottish Water to carry out major sewer replacemen­t works. The closure will be carried out in three phases to maintain access as much as possible. DEVONHILL AVENUE will be closed between Chriss Avenue and Dundonald Drive from 7am on Friday, February 7, to 5pm on Wednesday, February 12, for footway patching. Alternativ­e route via High Parks Crescent, Carscallan Road, A723 Strathaven Road and Chriss Avenue.

Stonehouse

HILL ROAD will be closed between Argyle Street/lawrie Street and Wellbrae until Friday, February 14, to allow lighting upgrade works. Alternativ­e route via Wellbrae, Queen

Street, King Street, Trongate and Argyle Street.

VICARS ROAD and Manse Road will be closed between Hill Road and the cemetery entrance from Monday, January 20, to Wednesday, January 22, for resurfacin­g work. Diversion via Townhead Street, Strathaven Road and Manse Road. CANDERMILL ROAD will be closed between Camnethan Street and Lockhart Street from Monday, January 20 to Sunday, February 16, to allow Scottish Gas Networks to carry out mains upgrade works.

Strathaven

DRUMCLOG Highway will be closed between Rench Farm and Drumclog Highway from Tuesday, January 21, to Saturday, January 25, for BT installati­on work. A diversion will be in place.

WATERSIDE STREET will be closed between Green Street and The Ward on Wednesday, January 26 for installati­on of BT apparatus.
