Building for future thanks to donation

A football team are hoping to go from strength to strength after receiving a bumper cash boost thanks to a homebuilde­r.

Hamilton Youth Football Club will finish the season in top form thanks to Lovell Homes, who sponsored the team as part of their shared vision of giving back to the local community.

The club were only founded at the start of the year, with a focus on providing a positive environmen­t to develop football skills, while establishi­ng an inclusive culture for all their young stars to enjoy the benefits of teamwork and togetherne­ss.

Lovell Homes are looking forward to celebratin­g the launch of the Glow Garren Showhome in March 2023, their signature developmen­t which is on the grounds of the former Philips Factory on Wellhall Road, Hamilton.

Glow Garren, as a new homes regenerati­on developmen­t, will provide 123 private homes for sale, along with delivering 40 homes for South Lanarkshir­e council.

Hamilton Youth Football Club coach Joe Roy and his team attended

Lovell’s Glow Garren developmen­t last week to receive their donation.

Joe said: “Both the children and the management team at Hamilton Youth Football Club thank Lovell for their kind generosity which will help with the children develop.”

A spokespers­on for Lovell Homes told the Advertiser: “Lovell Homes are delighted to be able to sponsor this local start-up which will provide the team with key equipment to deliver an excellent training experience.”
