Clinic is crowned best in Scotland

A Hamilton business claimed a national title at a prestigiou­s industry awards ceremony.

FTT Skin Clinics was named Scottish clinic of the year at the annual Aesthetics Awards in London, which recognises leading providers of cosmetic treatments and which attracted a total of more than 400 entries.

The company, based at Bothwell Road in the town, won the award for “commitment to excellence in customer service, patient care and safety, as well as evidence of good feedback from patients”.

FTT was founded 15 years ago by nurse prescriber Frances Turner Traill, along with her husband and business partner John Traill.

Now its clinical director, Frances said:“it’s great to be recognised within the industry for the highest of standards and safest of practices; we continue to bring ethical, safe, medical aesthetic treatments to Scotland and beyond.

“Thank you to my entire team and to each and every one of our patients.”

FTT, which also has a base in Inverness, is described as having“an exemplary profession­al reputation in medical aesthetics within Scotland”.

Strathaven couple Frances and John have a range of healthcare and business experience of leadership roles in healthcare, government, profession­al associatio­ns, universiti­es and companies.

Aesthetics editor and content manager Shannon Kilgariff said: “With so many exceedingl­y high-quality entries this year, it really is a testament that FTT Skin Clinics has been awarded clinic of the year in Scotland.

“The awards promote efficacy, safety and endorse excellence in the medical aesthetic field and this placing shows that FTT are really on top of their game.”
