There’s something so decadently indulgent about a three course lunch on a Friday afternoon, especially if that lunch is being served at the iconic five star hotel, Chewton Glen. We had the tiresome task of trying out their new estate lunch menu recently, and we can safely say it is well worth the trip down. Paying homage to the plethora of produce grown within the hotel grounds, the menu is carefully created to reflect the season. With two courses for just £25 or three for £32, there’s nothing bitter about the flavours left in your mouth. The Tartlet of Smoked Enderby Haddock and Crab was literally one of the most delightful things to have happened to me all week; this is fine dining at a fraction of the price. The best thing about dining at such an establishment is always the service; the sommelier was beyond knowledgeable, personable and truly excitable about all the wines she offered. We really were made to feel like queens – a very memorable afternoon. Available lunch time Monday - Saturday. Not valid throughout December 2018. Book your table by phoning 01425 282212
