NATIONWIDE STREET PARTIES

Friends, family and communities are being encouraged to come together in homes, streets and parks over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend to enjoy a celebratory lunch or party: the ‘Big Jubilee Lunch’. An estimated 10 million people around the country are set to hold gatherings as nationwide ‘thank you’ parties for the Queen and her 70 years of service. The Big Windsor Lunch will be one of the largest get-togethers, welcoming around 1,600 people and featuring a 500-metre-long table running from Cambridge Gate by the Castle towards the Copper Horse in Windsor Great Park, breaking a 2019 picnic record set in Memphis, Tennessee.
