CELEBRATE AT SANDRINGHAM
On 4 June, the Queen’s Norfolk estate will be live-screening ‘Platinum Party at the Palace’, the BBC Concert celebrating the most significant moments from the Queen’s seven-decade reign, on the big screen in the royal parkland. The lighting of the Sandringham beacon on 2 June will also take place in the royal parkland, accompanied by live music from the Norwich Pipe Band and the Hunstanton Band. Queen’s love of the great outdoors, as well as a display focusing on the Queen’s first televised Christmas Day speech from 1957, which was recorded at Sandringham.
