■ British holidaymak­ers are now 30% more likely to book their next overseas getaway with an expert travel agent than before the pandemic.

Research for travel associatio­n ABTA also says nearly half (47%) said they valued profession­al guidance with Covid requiremen­ts as the main reason, followed by the security of booking a package holiday (46%).

Young people are even more likely to consult a travel profession­al than before the pandemic (66%), while a third of Brits reckon they have a better holiday when they book through one. abta.com
