■ British holidaymakers are now 30% more likely to book their next overseas getaway with an expert travel agent than before the pandemic.
Research for travel association ABTA also says nearly half (47%) said they valued professional guidance with Covid requirements as the main reason, followed by the security of booking a package holiday (46%).
Young people are even more likely to consult a travel professional than before the pandemic (66%), while a third of Brits reckon they have a better holiday when they book through one. abta.com
