Conservative Party continues to party

WHAT is it with our Prime Minister that he is not like other husbands or partners who would take pride in paying for a family holiday or a home refurbishment?

Selfishness comes to mind, eg, ‘having your cake and eating it !’

He is, ‘keeping his hands in his pockets’ as they say. A true Conservative.

As for his drinks party, on the eve of the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral, it was disrespectful to everyone and to the Queen, his wife of many years. Totally insensitive.

Some of the newspapers said the Prime Minister had done the right thing to apologise to the Queen. What a let-off. I am sure the Queen will not forget ‘that’ party.

Meanwhile we are in the hands of a Conservative government in midwinter. Ray Crick
