A new boy called Dodger has been recruited into Fagin’s gang of pickpockets and we follow his adventures as he tries to prove himself and fit in. Dodger doesn’t shy away from depicting how tough life was for street children in the 1830s and Christopher Eccleston makes for an intimidating Fagin alongside a cast that includes David Threlfall and Billy Jenkins as the Artful Dodger .
