BOOKSMART BBC Three, Saturday, February 12, 10pm LAUDED as one of the best teen films of the last decade, it’s fitting that Booksmart should get its network premiere on resurrected youth channel BBC Three. Actorturned-director Olivia Wilde’s feature debut follows two nerdish schoolgirls who realise their years of studious devotion to getting good grades means they’ve missed out on the fun parts of growing up – which they intend to rectify at a wild house party. Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever star in this sharp comedy which provides a refreshing counterpoint to the usual male comingof-age dramas.
