Eight episodes
The Rising centres on Neve Kelly (Clara Rugaard), who is scared and confused when she learns that she is dead. Fear turns to rage when Neve discovers she was murdered and her killer was probably someone close to her. She obsesses about avenging her passing, if only to bring peace to her mother and father. Neve can venture where police can’t, in search of the truth, but as she wilfully destabilises the lives of those left behind, potential culprits begin to cover their tracks.
