ANATOMY OF A SCANDAL Netflix from Friday, April 15

■ GIVEN the way British politics has been going in the last few years, this six-part series about a scandal involving an MP doesn’t seem far-fetched at all, even as it goes to some very dark places. Rupert Friend plays rising star of the Tory party James Whitehouse who becomes embroiled in scandal after an affair with an aide Olivia Lytton (Naomi Scott) is revealed. His longsuffering wife Sophie (Sienna Miller) finds herself in the political storm and media glare that follows but when allegations of sexual assault and a cover-up follow, she wonders whether she knows her husband at all.
