GLA bills hike during cost of living crisis

COUNCIL Tax bills for 2022/23 recently landed on resident’s mats.

The bills reflect a total increase of 2.99% over last year, which include a staggering £483.50 to the Greater London Authority, a percentage change of 8.8%.

Are the council oblivious of the fact there is a cost-of-living crisis facing residents in Ealing and around the country. Inflation level is currently at 6.2% and is expected to rise this year to 7.9%. The highest level of inflation for 30 years.
