SPRING is in the air and Springwatch is back on air as the much-loved televisual chronicle of nature’s seasonal wonders returns for a three-week run. This time around, presenters Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan will be based at Wild Ken Hill in Norfolk while Megan McCubbin will be undertaking a road trip across the north of England with stop-offs including the Kielder Forest, Hauxley Nature Reserve and Newcastle. Meanwhile Iolo Williams will be on the Isle of Mull looking for white-tailed and golden eages and also seeing what wildlife thrives in a small meadow. Also returning are the popular Mindful Moments, 90-second films celebrating the sights and sounds of nature.
