Top to toe

Dr Prager’s latest treatments apply his anti-ageing expertise to the body as well as the face

-

It takes a true leader in any field to a bring about a dramatic shift of culture. Dr Michael Prager, the UK’s leading user of Botox, is such a trailblazer, gently pushing the boundaries of age-defying aesthetics to go beyond the face.

‘When I first got to the UK, I noticed that women were only concerned about keeping their faces fresh, healthy and youthful,’ says Dr Prager. ‘But anti-ageing is a top-to-toe issue. Who wants a mismatch in aesthetical age between your face and your body?’

The body, though, is difficult to treat. ‘We can improve pigmentation, skin elasticity and wrinkles,’ he says, ‘but a lot of ageing from the neck down is due to a loss of muscle, along with the plumping layer of fat that sits over it.’

Dr Prager has spent the past five years sourcing the best sculpting, slimming and body-firming technologies, all available at his Wimpole Street clinic. It offers fat-dissolving injections (a technique so targeted, it can be used on the knees); multi-polar radio-frequency treatments to increase collagen while decreasing stretch marks, cellulite and skin-slackening; and impressively effective, FDA-approved fat-freezing technology.

‘Together with our microneedling, bespoke facials, LED therapy and peels, we have one of the most modern combined approaches to all-over anti-ageing,’ says Dr Prager. This holistic cosmetic concept has also inspired his soon-to-open eponymous Beauchamp Place face-and-body clinic.
