The bohemian spirit of The Kooples’ new line

Youthful wanderlust and laid-back festivals inspired The Kooples’ Sunrise collection. Drawing on references from Woodstock to Coachella, the three founders – brothers Alexandre, Laurent and Raphaël Elicha – curated the perfect carefree wardrobe of printed dresses, peasant blouses and embroidered kimono jackets. ‘The collection is a tribute to an Indian summer, imagined through a variety of colourful fabrics and floral combinations,’ says Laurent. ‘Fluid and airy silhouettes are designed for a bohemian woman, but with cowboy boots and studded belts that nod to The Kooples’ rock ’n’ roll spirit.’ Sunrise is the third edition of the brand’s highsummer capsule, and part of its revolutionary 12-collection fashion cycle. The range also includes new limited editions of the Emily bag in beaded suede and with exaggerated, flowing fringing. charlotte davey
