HÉLÈNE BAILLY

For her PAD debut, the gallerist Hélène Bailly will show a selection of

20th-century pieces including a 1924 bronze figure by Gustave Miklos and a painting by the American artist Sam Francis. Born into one of France’s most prestigious art-dealing families, Bailly opened her first gallery in

Paris in 2007. She has a breathtaking collection of works on display, including masterpieces by Braque (below), Calder, Chagall, Picasso, Renoir and Monet.

ROSE UNIACKE

The acclaimed interior designer tracks down all kinds of alluring antiques to fill her clients’ homes, including the Beckhams’ house in Holland Park. Her stand at PAD will feature an assortment of such treasures, including a late 1950s chair by Frits Henningsen (left), a monochrome bowl by the Turkish ceramic artist Alev Ebuzziya Siesbye and two Bernard Leach stoneware tiles decorated with horses and sea creatures.

KAREN SWAMI

Clay is the material of choice for the French ceramicist, who is one of only a handful of

people in France to master Kintsugi, the

Japanese technique of mending fissures and cracks in pottery with pure gold. She initially studied the practice out of necessity. ‘My firing method is so violent it breaks 30 per cent of my pots in the kiln,’ she explains. ‘This

way, I am giving them a second life.’ www.swami.fr

ELIZABETH DELACARTE

The founder of Galerie Avant-Scène, Delacarte supports artists who are inspired by nature. Among the treasures on her stand this year is a set of Hubert

Le Gall candlesticks fashioned from bronze (left). www.avantscene.fr

VALERY DEMURE

The founding owner of an e-commerce platform for rare jewellery is dedicating her stand to 11 female designers. ‘I am more

attracted to pieces made by women,’ Demure says. ‘It’s not just about creating sexy or pretty things, but originality and artistic values.’ www.valerydemure.com. PAD London is at Berkeley Square

from 1 until 7 October.
