Cross-Channel relationships flourished at this year’s PAD fair

The French ambassador Jean-Pierre Jouyet and his wife Brigitte Taittinger hosted a dinner at the Embassy to herald the return of the annual PAD fair to Berkeley Square.

Patrick Perrin, the CEO of PAD, warmly greeted the assembled artists and designers, including Rose Uniacke, Rita Konig, Fran Hickman and Ron Arad, who arrived wearing an appropriately sculptural hat. Guests gathered in the enchanting garden for R de Ruinart Champagne before moving indoors to be served with Gallic dishes of foie gras with figs, Normandy sole, lemon éclairs

and miniature îles flottantes. ep
