’Tis the season to be jolly – after dashing out from a long day at work, and negotiating the treacherous terrain known as ‘office-to-evening dressing’. In my case, this means a chic black trouser suit, softened with a silk blouse, and a swift change of shoes, preferably into a pair of crystal-adorned crimson Manolos.
