Enterprisi­ng artists are helping us to learn new skills at home. For her recently launched Clay Club, the ceramicist and founder of Kana London Ana Kerin is posting ‘evening class’ kits to pupils, who then receive lessons via video. The print designer Lisa King is sharing the secrets of successful sketching in her Zoom workshops, while the painter Frances Costelloe recommends trying your hand at decorating your own lampshades. For children, artists including Gillian Wearing, Antony Gormley and Annie Morris have mapped out figures to download, print and colour in, through packs produced by the Colchester museum Firstsite. And inspiratio­n for all ages can be found in the augmented-reality app Vortic, which is currently showcasing the Victoria Miro gallery’s exhibition of luminous canvases by the Londonbase­d Flora Yukhnovich.
