LONDON BOROUGH OF HAMMERSMIT­H AND FULHAM ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) (UXBRIDGE ROAD) TEMPORARY PROHIBITIO­N OF TRAFFIC

1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmit­h and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate essential mains replacemen­t in the above-named road; it intends to make an Order the effect of which would temporaril­y prohibit traffic in a section of the above-named road.

2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed:

(a) Thorpebank Road would be closed at its junction

with Uxbridge Road to No. 11 Thorpebank Road. (b) Percy Road would be closed at its junction with Conningham Mews to its junction with Uxbridge Road.

(c) Keith Grove would be closed at is junction with Uxbridge Road to a point Two Meters South of that junction.

(d) Galloway Road would be closed at is junction with Uxbridge Road to a point Two Meters North of that junction.

(e) Boscombe Road would be closed at its junction

with Uxbridge Road to Conningham Villas and

(f) Oaklands Grove would be closed at is junction with Uxbridge Road to a point Two Meters North of that junction.

3. An alternativ­e route for vehicular traffic in article 2 shall be provided via:

(a) Galloway Road and Dunraven Road

(b) Findon Road, Boscombe Road and Uxbridge Road (c) Will not be required.

(d) Uxbridge Road, Adelaide Grove and Dunraven Road (e) Uxbridge Road, Conningham Road and

Findon Road and

(f) Uxbridge Road, Ormiston Grove and Halsbury Road.

4. Exemptions would be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interferen­ce with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

5. The Order would come into operation on the 9th January 2024 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

6. Works would be expected to commence on Tuesday 9th January 2024 and last until 5th February 2024. The dates specified are for guidance and informativ­e purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
