Katy Perry’s been keeping quiet – now she’s ready to take back her crown

Iwon’t just survive – you will I see me thrive.” That’s what Katy Perry, 31, promised last week in the opening lines of her comeback smash, Rise – and now heat can reveal that she’s ready to live by that motto.

Then there were those photos that blew up the internet – the ones of Katy and Orlando Bloom, 39, on holiday in Sardinia, where he’s totally naked and Katy couldn’t look less concerned that her bloke’s got his bits out. The couple were drinking rosé, paddleboarding and Pda-ing all over the place – with Orlando wearing just a pair of sunnies, a cap and a smug smile. Aside from the obvious (Katy’s one lucky girl!) the pictures prove one thing for sure – Katy’s happier than ever.

It seems the photos – which came out the day before the video for, ahem, Rise was released – could be part of Katy’s plan to come out on top. Our insider, who’s worked with several big picture agencies, tells us, “Celebrities don’t really get ‘caught out’ like this any more. Looking at the quality of these photos, Katy and Orlando must’ve been OK with everyone seeing just how happy they are.” And, hey, naked paddleboarding and laughing your head off sure beats Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s chaste windswept kiss, right?

“Katy’s loving the attention from the pictures,” another source tells us. “Orlando looks great and so does she. She loves that it’s rubbing [her ex] John [Mayer]’s face in it– and, of course, Taylor’s – and that she and Orly are the fun, hot couple right now.”
