Get Nicole’s bod

Five Mcdonalds a week! Joke: it’s her workout

-

Nicole Scherzinger’s looking truly, superhumanly amazing at the moment. The reason? Along with Suki Waterhouse and a growing army of celebrities, Nicole is a fan of The Viking Method – a high-intensity full-body workout, with added roar.

Svava Sigbertsdottir, from Iceland, is the body and mind behind the plan, which she developed with her Viking ancestors in mind. She says, “My method makes you resilient,

and full of energy and drive. It makes you stop overanalysing things and caring what others think about you. It’s a method of empowerment.”

In short, it turns you from worrier to warrior. Which comes in handy if you have a stressful job, like, say, sitting next to Simon Cowell for 12 hours at a time. “Nicole loves how much energy it gives her, especially when she has long days filming for The X Factor,” says Svava. The Viking Method nails results by pairing and timing exercises together in a way that fires up muscle fibres. A self-confessed science boff, Svava’s method activates the fat-burning, lean-tissue-building and de-stressing hormones in the body. Having exercised her whole life, she came up with the method because nothing else ticked all of her boxes. “I wanted one method for everything. Power, strength, agility, leanness, nutrition, contentment and inner wellbeing,” she says.

Now, exclusively for heat, Svava has devised this special Viking plan. It’s gimmick-free and there’s no equipment required – you can do it in your living room or, even better, outside. Just like Lemonade preaches, all you need is yourself…
