Why we think Ferne’s had a nose job

We spotted the reality star looking like she’s had a little surgery…

Ever since she started TOWIE, Ferne Mccann has been publicly umming and ahhing over whether to have a nose job. But now, heat can reveal that it looks like she’s finally taken the plunge and gone under the surgeon’s knife. While a spokesperson for Ferne told heat she hasn’t had any work done, here’s why we think she’s gearing up to reveal a new nose to the world.

Exhibit #1 We saw her

Our eyewitness spotted Ferne in Gatwick Airport departures lounge last Monday, trying to keep a very low profile, with two black eyes and what looked like a new nose heat’s spy, who’s a long-time TOWIE fan and has met Ferne on several occasions, tells us, “What made me look at her was the fact she had two black eyes. Then I realised it was Ferne – but her nose looked totally different. It’s much smaller now.”

The onlooker adds that Ferne – who was flying to Greece – seemed keen to hide, dipping her head low and wearing a cap. “She was buying make-up – possibly to cover up the bruising, which was awful,” says our source. “She looked really beaten up.”

Exhibit #2 She’s hiding on social media

When we checked Ferne’s various social media accounts, we realised that, over the past few weeks, we haven’t seen any photos of her face. Ferne hasn’t posted any snaps to Instagram that look like they were taken on that day for over two weeks, apart from one video where her back is to camera. And, even though it was her birthday last weekend, no pictures have gone up on Twitter, either. Oddly, on her Snapchat – where Ferne usually loves to talk to her fans face-to-face – she’s been hiding – wearing a hotel dressing gown pulled up around her ears and even turning away from the camera in one video.

Exhibit #3 She’s said she wants one

Last time heat saw Ferne, she admitted she had a consultation for a nose op booked in, but that she was undecided. “I’m thinking about having it done, but then I contradict myself,” she told us. “God gave you this nose, you know, my mum and dad. It will always be my insecurity – everyone has that one thing they’d love to change.”
