Kim and Kanye are hiring someone to have twins for them

After a rough few months, there’s finally some good news for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West: they have hired a surrogate to have their third child. And heat can reveal, they’re hoping for twins. Just days after the couple were pictured cuddling at a friend’s wedding, and Kanye attended Kim’s make-up launch – their first public appearance in a month – US reports claimed Kimye had agreed to pay an agency $68,850 and surrogate mother $45,000 to carry their baby, with a bonus $5k for each additional child.

“It was a shock when Kim and Kanye said they’d found a surrogate, as only a couple of months ago, friends were worried they might divorce,” says heat’s Kardashian insider. “But after a roller-coaster year, Kim has been doing a lot of thinking. She didn’t want to rush any decisions, but decided she wanted to expand her family. Her biggest priority now is having more kids.”

Kim has placenta accreta, a condition that means another pregnancy could be life-threatening. Earlier this year, Kim underwent surgery to try to correct it, but it didn’t work. “I can’t carry any more kids… it’s the worst,” she said on KUWTK. Sisters Khloé and Kourtney, and even best friend Chrissy Teigen, offered to be her surrogate (where Kimye’s fertilised embryos are carried by another woman). But now, Kim has decided to go with an agency – and the friend say she’s hoping for twins, something that’s common with surrogacy, as more embryos are implanted to give the pregnancy a higher chance of success. “Kim’s attitude is that they need to make the most of this opportunity and if twins happen, why not?” says the friend. “If Beyoncé has twins, then Kim wants them.”

Previously, Kim, 36, has been very vocal about stopping at two kids, but since she was robbed in Paris last year, she’s changed her mind.

So, will this “band-aid baby” solve any problems in Kimye’s marriage? Maybe, says our source. “They’ve spent a lot of time talking with therapists, recently, as well as a good deal of time apart. I think Kanye was worried Kim would say it was pointless struggling on, but she surprised him – she wants him to live with the family full time again to work on the marriage. Even if it doesn’t work out – and she hopes it will – then she’ll still have her expanded family.”

Our insider says, there are also added benefits to the surrogate situation. “Kim would hate to go through a pregnancy again, as she’s just got her body back to her ideal weight,” says the friend. And Kim, who last week claimed that unflattering holiday pics of her bum were photoshopped, will have some exciting new storylines for KUWTK, which is currently filming season 14.
