‘I FELT LIKE A F**KING MONSTER’
The singer breaks his silence on Rihanna attack
Eight years ago, the world was stunned and horrified by the pictures of a bruised and bloodied Rihanna following an attack by her thenboyfriend, singer Chris Brown.
Now, Chris has broken his silence on their relationship, claiming they used to have regular physical fights over other women. In a new documentary, Chris Brown:
Welcome To My Life, the 28 year old says, “There were too many verbal fights, physical fights as well. Mutual sides. It is the first time I get to say anything. We would fight each other. She would hit me, I would hit her and it never was OK.”
In February 2009, after Clive Davis’ Grammy party, the couple got into a row in his Lamborghini over a text message from an ex on Chris’ phone that upset Rihanna.
He says, “I remember she tried to kick me, but then I really hit her, with a closed fist, I punched her. I busted her lip. When I saw it, I was in shock. I was like, ‘F**k. Why the hell did I hit her?’ From there, she just spit blood in my face and it enraged me even more. I bit her arm as I’m trying to drive. It’s like a petty stupid fight.”
Following the incident, Chris pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault and served probation for the crime. He adds, “I look back at that picture and I hate it. It’s not me. I felt like a f**king monster.”
We hope you did, Chris.
