Cheryl: No.1 hit before a second baby
2018 is set to be a big one for the singer
There’s nothing like revisiting your old job to get the creative juices flowing – and no one’s juices are flowing quite like Cheryl’s right now. Following her successful appearance at Judges’ Houses, Cheryl’s told friends she’s got her music mojo back, and is set for a major comeback next year.
“Cheryl knows this is the time to jump back into her work,” says an insider close to the former Girls Aloud singer, 34, who had son Bear in March. “She’s decided to spend 2018 concentrating on a comeback, as well as becoming a full-time
X Factor judge again. She loves being a mum to Bear, but Cheryl knows she has to strike now if she wants to be successful again. She’s already back in the studio working on new music for an album.”
Last week, Cheryl’s boyfriend of nearly two years, Liam Payne, 24, admitted Chez has even been practising with him at home, saying, “We have rap battles in the kitchen. We have dance battles, I learn new moves all the time.”
It comes as plans for baby number two were put on the backburner, after the local council refused the couple permission to turn their home into a mega mansion. As heat recently reported, Cheryl and Liam wanted to more than double the size of their already epic five-bed house in Surrey, but without their dream home and with Cheryl excited about her career again, the couple have agreed the timing isn’t ideal for a second baby. Which would free up the Geordie singer to return to X Factor.
As heat’s told you, show producers and her old boss Simon Cowell have pretty much begged Cheryl to return full-time after her cameo appearance last month, although nothing has yet been confirmed.
We’re told, “Of course, Cheryl would love to have another child, but she also wants to focus on her career while everyone’s talking about her. Then they can see about having another baby in 2019.
“It would make it a two-year gap between babies, which she thinks is perfect.” Sounds perfect to us, too, guys.
